Client Energy Smart Design and Implementation
Proven Methodology to Speed Deployment and Energy Savings
Conserving client energy sounds like an easy task — just power down employee systems when they’re not in use. But designing and implementing a centralized, automated solution can be challenging. A deployment of this scope will pull your IT department away from mission-critical operations or jeopardize scheduled maintenance activities. And mistakes could mean lost productivity for end users.
The Dell Client Energy Smart Design and Implementation can reduce risk and speed a successful deployment.
How It Works
During the design phase, we work with you to create a PC power management solution based on the NightWatchman® and WakeUp™ software solutions from our partner, 1E. Solution details include power management requirements and documentation of the design and configuration for each component.
From there, our team will map implementation to the design using our proven methodology consisting of four key phases: initiation, implementation planning, solution implementation and final handover to operational staff.
The Dell Client Energy Smart Design and Implementation includes:
- Detailed architecture and design processes to identify client applications
- Installation and configuration of power management console
- Design and build of client policies
- Implementation timelines and planning guide
- A pilot to validate results
- Support and maintenance
- Reference architectures
- Customized reports for power usage and costs
