In response to customer requests for a lower-cost Fibre Channel primary story solution, which does not require the scalability of the Dell/EMC Clarion CX4 series, Dell staged and executed proof of concept and precertification testing for the Dell/EMC AX4-5 storage array.
Based on test reports from the Dell VistA lab, the AX4-5-based solution was approved for Field Test in VISN 23 and was subsequently certified.
