2.

Check the sensor actuator

The front door sensor actuator presses a switch when the front door is closed. If the actuator is bent, damaged or missing this error may occur.

To check the actuator:
  1. Open the front door
  2. Locate the sensor actuator and check for damage.

A piece of plastic on the inside right of the front door is highlighted. It's 2 to 3cm long
and shaped like a popsicle stick.

3.

Check and test the sensor

Manually testing the sensor allows you to tell if the sensor is faulty, or if it is not being pressed when the door is closed.

To test the sensor:
  1. Open the front door.
  2. Locate the sensor

Immediately to the right of the toner cartridge a rectangular cutout on the chassis with a
	white plastic switch is highlighted.

  3. Using a key or similar object push the sensor switch back. If the message on screen changes from Close front door to Ready the sensor is operational.
