Featuring accelerated graphics and multimedia, fast, flexible user connectivity and unrivaled energy-efficiency, new Wyse® Z class™ delivers uncompromising performance where users need it most. The Z class features Wyse® Enhanced SUSE Linux®, Windows® Embedded Standard 2009 and Windows Embedded Standard 7 operating systems, and a cloud PC for use with Wyse® WSM.

Also, the Wyse® Device Manager supports Wyse® Z class™ with scalable enterprise-wide management for simple deployment, patching and updates and asset management — all with secure end-to-end encrypted communications.

Wyse® Z class™ delivers excellent performance in your 2D, 3D and HD (high-definition) video applications, so you can work with stunning HD multimedia graphics, voice and video. It’s also the first design to include hardware accelerated DirectX® 11 graphics with OpenGL 4.0 and OpenCL support.

We’re committed to helping you implement a greener computing strategy: one that delivers a more efficient and productive computing experience, and a positive effect on energy waste, heat and carbon emissions. Wyse® Z class™ cloud clients typically use between 12 and 15 watts of power, compared to a typical PC that uses between 70 and 150 watts. Even in sleep mode, Wyse® Z class™ units draw just 2 watts — even while it’s fully remotely managed.

 

They’re better for our environment, too: Wyse® has implemented an ISO 14001-based environmental management system and WEEE recycling processes, and all Wyse® products meet stringent ROHS requirements.
