These centers provide customers with all the technical skills and infrastructure needed to rapidly build and bring to market .NET solutions. These unique environments built on Dell PowerEdgeTM , PowerVaultTM , and Dell/EMC systems are designed to accelerate development while minimizing the risk to customers.

OVERVIEW - Microsoft Technology Centers provide customers interested in enabling their business with an optimal setting for designing and testing their applications on Windows 2000 and developing .NET solutions. Customers wishing to capitalize on cornerstone Dell Enterprise Infrastructure computing and Microsoft.NET technologies are given the opportunity to leverage technical skills within the MTCs' comprehensive development environments, which include highly skilled technical teams and an infrastructure designed from the ground up for customers wanting a .NET business solution from Dell and Microsoft.

MTC DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT - Customers are immersed in a development powerhouse that includes a private development lab equipped with dual-processor Dell PrecisionTM  workstations, a dedicated network and eight high-end rack-mounted Dell PowerEdgeTM , PowerVaultTM , and Dell/EMC systems from Dell. Each rack features two eight-processor PE8450 servers, two four-processor PE6650 servers and four two-processor PE1550 servers. Each rack can also be attached to a Dell/EMC Storage Area Network for added scalability. Additionally, each rack has access to a set of Dell PowerEdgeTM  web servers for load generation or for testing scale-out scenarios.

  • 3-5 Day Architectural Design Session - Consultative session with dedicated MCS lead to help walk through your business problems and develop an initial architecture and project plan that meets your business needs.
  • 2-3 Week Proof of Concept - Take your newly planned architecture for a road-test. Prove out scalability, reliability, and key functionality; and, leave with a working solution in hand!!!
