Start-up company Style Design Systems wanted to launch a new photo-sharing website. To do this, they needed a robust, scalable infrastructure capable of storing millions of pictures. The effective use of space and remote access tools were also essential as the company rents rack space in an offsite datacentre.

Style Design Systems was advised by Dell to deploy a solution based on Dell^TM  PowerEdge^TM  1950 and 2950 servers. The solution was designed by Dell consultants with clustered servers, which creates a redundant infrastructure helping to ensure high availability. The solution also includes two mirrored MD1000 enclosures.
