Customer Ownership Experience

Dell recognizes the importance of understanding how our products affect the environment through impacts associated with design, manufacture, use, and end-of-life activities. Each product leaves an environmental footprint throughout its lifecycle, and within each phase of the cycle there are numerous options for reducing environmental impacts.

Once a product is purchased the customer has an opportunity to manage that asset in an environmentally responsible manner. Dell focuses intensely on providing the best Customer Experience, throughout the product's life, and with the help of the Alliance for Environmental Innovation; we developed a guide to promote environmentally preferable practices for product users including sections on acquisition, usage optimization, and ways to extend the product's life.
