While the latest version of Dell OpenManageTM software is included with most PowerEdgeTM servers, you can stay up-to-date with the latest OpenManage features and recommended server systems software by enrolling in the OpenManage Subscription Service. Subscriptions are available in increments of 4, 8 or 12 updates in U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Updates are proactively delivered when Dell releases software updates and generally include the following items:

- Dell OpenManage Installation and Server Management applications

Improve Systems Management
Dell OpenManage provides a family of systems management offerings that help keep Dell systems running efficiently. For instance, Dell PowerEdge Updates provide easy to use change management capabilities. For individual server updates, Dell PowerEdge Updates deliver the Server Update Utility and all tested Dell Update Packages (DUPs) enabling automated inventory, compare, and updates for BIOS, firmware and drivers.
For group server updates, the PowerEdge Updates can be used as the file repository for the IT Assistant (version 7.0 and later) change management feature.

If purchasing a PowerEdge server, simply add the subscription service onto your order. If ordering more than one server, be sure to specify how many subscription orders you would like. There is no need to purchase a subscription for every server - you can enjoy the convenience of using one subscription on multiple servers.
