ProSupport prepares service maintenance technicians or companies with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide their own maintenance. Dell EMR Hardware Solution Online Training The Dell EMR hardware solution training is a self-paced online course that offers approximately 2 hours of e-learning content. This e-learning course introduces healthcare professionals to the hardware components of the Dell EMR solution and understand how to use the Dell hardware in an EMR environment. The course objectives were designed to highlight the key features by utilizing real-world scenarios and provide the overall advantages of the Dell EMR hardware solution, including basic troubleshooting techniques for general support. |
Dell Desktop and Notebook Configuration and Troubleshooting This course replaces Dell Hardware Maintenance - Client. This two-day, instructor-led training course teaches students basic Dell desktop and notebook troubleshooting techniques to help customers quickly and effectively identify problems and implement the correct solution to help ensure maximum availability of their equipment. It covers the current line of Dell client products, including the Latitude XT tablet and Dell's latest E-series Latitude notebooks. This course integrates hands-on disassembly, reassembly and scenario-based troubleshooting labs with Theory of Operation; Component Removal and Replacement Procedures; and Hardware Troubleshooting training to provide for the immediate practical application of knowledge. |
Dell Desktop and Notebook Configuration and Troubleshooting (DNT) Assessment Technicians must pass the DNT online exam on either client systems (notebooks, desktops and workstations) or servers in order to receive accreditation in that particular line of business. |

The DellTM ProSupport Fast-Track Dispatch is designed specifically for IT technicians, internal helpdesks or service
desks, or third-party maintainers/VARs who perform initial troubleshooting for their end-users and have technical expertise
in their environment. As a key feature of Dell ProSupport for IT, this program enables Dell-certified technicians to bypass
basic troubleshooting and dispatch parts and labor via the Internet or phone.
With fast access to service and parts, and 7x24 direct access to Dell Expert Centers, the Dell ProSupport Fast-Track
Dispatch helps to provide technicians with the knowledge, tools and support necessary to efficiently maintain Dell ,
desktops and notebooks, PowerEdge servers, PowerVault storage systems, PowerConnect switches, and Dell printers.
Testing and Certification
After the Fast-Track Dispatch account is setup, learning content and assessments will be made available to technicians
within 48 hours through the http://www.learndell.com/prosupport portal.
The LearnDell certification site requires a separate login using the tech's email address. The technician email address
provided in the Fast-Track Setup Form must match the technician email address used on the LearnDell certification site.
Technicians must annually pass a Policy and Procedure module and proficiency examination(s) on each of the product
families to be serviced and supported. After the technician successfully completes the Policy and Procedure module and
product family testing, Fast-Track Dispatch of parts and service will be activated within 48 hours.
To utilize the services of the Dell ProSupport Fast-Track Dispatch Program, technicians must:
- Accept and abide by the program Terms and Conditions
- Complete the ProSupport Fast-Track Dispatch Policy and Procedure Module
- Annually pass proficiency examination(s) on each of the product families to be serviced and supported*

*First year proficiency examination is waived if the technician successfully passes the online assessment for the Desktop
and Notebook Configuration and Troubleshooting instructor-led course; however, students must complete the PnP
module once per line-of-business in addition to passing the DNT online assessment.

PowerEdge Configuration and Troubleshooting - 11G Dell PowerEdge Configuration and Troubleshooting is a 2-day instructor-led course that helps prepare IT professionals to deploy and support Dell PowerEdge servers (except blades). Focusing on Dell's latest generation of servers, the course relies heavily on hands-on lab interactions to reinforce learning objectives. This course was developed in conjunction with Dell's highest-ranking internal product support group, as well global subject matter experts. The course objectives were designed to provide in-depth detail about Dell's 11G servers and the Dell Management Console. NOTE: This course does not cover blade servers or blade technology.
