Dell Management Pack for Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2000 Features:
- Manages and monitors events from OpenManage Server Administrator and Array Manager. Whenever an alert is generated from these OpenManage applications, the Microsoft MOM console will be populated.
- Groups Dell servers that have OpenManage Server Administrator installed into the Dell computer's group.
- Provides a launch point to OpenManage Server Adminstrator from within the alert description field for effective 1:1 management of the server on which the alert was generated.
- Alert action in terms of notification to the Hardware support group. This group is a default group in Microsoft MOM that can be configured to send email, pages, etc.

Dell OpenManageTM Connection for TivoliTM Enterprise Console
- Event capture and formatting - Dell server agents place events into the Windows NT log of the monitored system. Windows NT event log messages are converted to Tivoli event classes by configuring the Tivoli NT Log Event Adapter on each managed server with the format files provided with this Connection.
