What is the Dell Preferred Account (DPA)?
The Dell Preferred Account is a revolving line of credit that provides an easy way to finance your initial Dell Home and Home Office purchase as well as add software, peripherals, or even a new system to an account at any time up to your credit limit. What is zero % liability on unauthorized charges?
As a Dell Preferred Account member, you will not be held responsible for unauthorized purchase(s) on your Dell Preferred Account under the following conditions: You report the unauthorized purchase(s) within 90 days of the transaction appearing on your statement; and you cooperate with Dell Financial Services in the investigation of the fraudulent charges on your account. If you suspect unauthorized activity on your account, contact the Dell Financial Services Verification Department at 866-213-3355.

Why didn't I receive the lowest annual percentage rate available or other special program features?
WebBank, the lender, determines the annual percentage rate as well as qualification for promotional financing features based on its underwriting guidelines. Customers not eligible for the lowest available rate or a promotional financing feature may still be offered financing. Increasing the amount paid each month can reduce the total finance charges.

Can I transfer the balances of my other credit cards to my Dell Preferred Account?
No, we are unable to transfer balances to this account from other credit cards. The Dell Preferred Account is solely for purchases of Dell Home and Home Office computers and peripherals.

Can I update my personal information, such as my phone number and address online?
If you need to make any changes to your home address or telephone numbers, please go to http://www.dell.com/dfs to make the necessary changes.

How do I handle disputes on my Dell Preferred Account?
If you determine an error has been made or have any questions regarding your Dell Preferred Account bill, please send us a letter. We must receive your written correspondence within 60 days of the date you received the monthly billing statement on which you believe the error occurred.
