Your Limited Warranty* does not cover you against these sorts of problems, but CompleteCare Accidental Damage Service* does.

What kind of damage is covered?

If an incident occurs, you can call Dell's technical support line to report the problem. Depending on your system type, the cause and extent of damage, and other service options that you have purchased, Dell will initiate appropriate repair or replacement services. The services may include shipment of customer replaceable parts, dispatch of on-site service personnel, requests for shipment of damaged product to a Dell repair facility, or initiation of whole unit exchange procedures. CompleteCare Accidental Damage Service* is included with the Premium Solution Package, and can be added to other Limited Warranties* for up to 4 years.

CompleteCare Accidental Damage Service is not available in Florida.
