There are two ways businesses can use SupportAssist – (1) on the PC or (2) within the online portal TechDirect. Companies with IT teams that support end users will want to manage SupportAssist in TechDirect, giving them the ability to see support activities across their entire company in one, centralized place.

Businesses with ProSupport Plus service plans enjoy the full set of SupportAssist features, including predictive issue detection and failure prevention. Plus, automated issue detection, notification and case creation when problems arise.

TechDirect gives you flexibility when it comes to managing issues. You can auto-forward alerts for complete automation. Or, alerts can be individually managed in the SupportAssist Alerts section of TechDirect. Only ProSupport Plus and ProSupport entitled devices can be managed in TechDirect. You can even receive alerts in the management tools you already use such as ServiceNow.
