A. The Dell Advantage Loyalty Program1 entitles members to receive:
  • A Dell Promotional Card2  worth 3% of their purchases of $100 or greater (excluding taxes and shipping) redeemable toward future purchases
  • 12 months of No interest for Dell PC Purchases over $7993
  • Exclusive monthly emails with offers on PCs, electronics and accessories4.
A. You will typically receive your Dell Promotional card separately, via the Email that you used when registering for the Dell Advantage Loyalty program within 30 – 35 days of the order invoice date. The Cards carry an expiration date of 90 days from date of issuance as indicated on the promotional card carrier or email. You cannot use your Dell Promotional Card2 until after you receive it via email or in the mail. Don’t forget to check your spam/junk folders for receipt of your Dell ePromotional Card2!
A. Recent changes in the Dell Advantage program have made it possible to register for Dell Advantage via My Account. In order to have a Dell Advantage account, you must have a My Account that uses the same email address for both My Account and Dell Advantage

A. Yes you will need to log into your My Account at checkout so that your order is linked to the email associated to your Dell advantage account. Note that you must have a Dell My Account and registered for Dell Advantage to be eligible for Rewards
A. You can begin applying your Dell Advantage Loyalty Program1 benefits as soon as you enroll in the program.
A. Occasionally, your welcome email will fall into your junk/spam folders in your email. In addition, make sure you are checking the inbox of the email address you registered with Dell Advantage Loyalty Program1.
A. When registering for Dell Advantage Loyalty Program1, you can select to not receive emails with monthly offers. Or, if you are currently receiving special monthly offers, you can select “unsubscribe” at the bottom of your current emails.
A. You will typically receive your Dell -Promotional Card2 within 30 - 35 days after your invoice date which carries an expiration date of 90 days from date of issuance. A. NO, IT IS NOT A GIFT CARD, which means it expires in 90 days and cannot be combined. However, you can use up to two (2) Dell Promotional Cards2 as a form of payment via phone sales.
A. The Dell Promotional Card2 is calculated using the order subtotal excluding all taxes and shipping fees. A minimum order value of $100 before taxes applies.
A. No, an individual needs to be a registered member to receive the Dell Advantage Loyalty Program1 benefits.
A. The Dell Promotional Card2 is not valid if an eligible product is returned for a refund. If an eligible product is returned for a refund after the card has been redeemed, the value of the card will be deducted from the refund amount.
A.The Dell Advantage Loyalty Program1 benefits are applied on each individual order, so registering multiple email addresses won’t allow for multiple Dell Promotional Cards. Also, any Dell Advantage Loyalty Program1 coupons are single-use and non-stackable.

A. Yes. Dell Promotional Cards2 carry a 90 day expiration date from the date of issue.
A. No. The Dell Promotional Card2 ships separately from your purchase and will arrive about 30-35 days after the order ships. Agents are not able to provide the Dell Promotional Card2 number prior to this timeframe; Dell Promotional Cards2 must be received before being used to make a purchase.
A. The 3% value is based on the purchase subtotal of orders greater than $100 before taxes and shipping fees.
A. You can only spend the available funds on your Dell Promotional Card2. To use your Dell Promotional Card2 for a purchase that is greater than the amount on the Dell Promotional Card2, you may pay the remaining amount of your purchase with any credit card accepted by Dell. Except for such credit cards, Dell Promotional Cards2 may not be used in combination with any other form of payment including, without limitation Dell Business Credit, Dell Account or Dell Lease.
A. Dell can only accept a limited number of Dell Promotional Cards 2 per purchase. Dell Promotional Cards2 may not be combined for online purchases. To request to use more than one Dell Promotional Card2 to complete your purchase, please call 1-866 596 6519. Dell reserves the right to reject request for consolidation of any Dell Promotional Cards2 at its own discretion for any reason.
A. Multiple Dell Promotional Cards2 can NOT be consolidated into a single card. Please note that Dell Promotional Cards2 (cards that are issued in connection with a promotion, award or loyalty program) may not be merged with any other promotional cards or Dell Gift Cards of any kind. Dell reserves the right to reject request for consolidation of any Dell Promotional Cards2 at its own discretion for any reason.
A. The Dell Promotional Card2can be used until the value of the Dell Promotional Card2 is depleted or the Dell Promotional Card2 expires, whichever occurs first. The recipient can enjoy more than one purchase with the Dell Promotional Card2 as long as a balance remains on the Dell Promotional Card2 and as long as the Dell Promotional Card2 is not expired.

Dell Promotional Card FAQs


A. The Dell Promotional Card is not a credit card; it is a preloaded card that has a set dollar value that is printed on the paper card carrier to which the Dell Promotional Card is affixed. It can be used to purchase merchandise and services from Dell on our website www.dell.ca/home or by phone (1-866 596 6519) as indicated on the materials accompanying the Dell Promotional Card. The Dell Promotional Card is not valid for credit payments owed to Dell Financial Services Canada Limited (“Dell Financial Services”). The Dell Promotional Card cannot be redeemed at any third-party retail locations. The purchase amount will be automatically deducted from the value of the Dell Promotional Card. When the amount available on the Dell Promotional Card has been exhausted, any future transactions will be declined. If the purchase amount is greater than the remaining Dell Promotional Card balance you will be given an option to add a credit card as an additional form of payment. Please read the question below on "combining forms of payment" to make a purchase that exceeds the funds available on the Dell Promotional Card.
A. Although the instructions to use the Dell Promotional Card is like using a credit card on Dell.ca checkout, the Dell Promotional Card is not a credit card and cannot be used as one. It is a preloaded card that has a set dollar value that is printed on the carrier to which the Dell Promotional Card is affixed. Once the set dollar value is depleted, it this card can no longer be used and cannot be replenished.
A. The Dell Promotional Card may only be redeemed in Canada to purchase merchandise or services at Dell.ca or phone (1-866 596 6519)
A. The Dell Promotional Card is not accepted for Dell Financial Services payments (including Dell Preferred Account, Dell Business Credit, Dell Account or Dell Lease payments). It cannot be used in combination with ant Dell Financial Services purchase and cannot be used to purchase Dell Gift Cards or used at any non-Dell establishments.
A. Yes. Please use your Dell Promotional Card promptly. Dell Promotional Cards have varying expiration dates based on the date your Dell Promotional Card was issued. Expiration information for your Dell Promotional Card can be found in the carrier to which the Dell Promotional Card was affixed. After that date, the Dell Promotional Card will not be accepted, subject to applicable law. A. No. Once the value of the Dell Promotional Card has been depleted, the Dell Promotional Card is no longer valid. However, we recommend that you retain your Dell Promotional Card at least until you are sure that you do not intend to return any purchased merchandise.

If you think you are eligible to receive a Dell Promotional Card and it has been more than 30 days after your order has invoiced, please check your Junk mail and if you have still not received an eligibility email from Dell, please call 1-800-999-3355, only If you qualified for a free Dell e Promotional Card with a Dell purchase. The Dell Promotional Card will not be sent if your original order has been canceled or if you return your purchase. If a qualifying system is returned after receiving your Dell Promotional Card, your Dell Promotional Card will be deactivated and the value of any redeemed portion of your Dell Promotional Card will be subtracted from your refund.
A. The Dell Promotional Card may only be redeemed in Canada to purchase merchandise or services at Dell.ca or phone (1-866 596 6519). It can not be used at a dell reseller retail outlet.
A. No. Dell Promotional Cards are only to be used to purchase merchandise and services at Dell. The Dell Promotional Card cannot be used to withdraw or used to be redeemed for cash.

To use your Dell Promotional Card for a purchase that is greater than the amount on the Dell Promotional Card, you may pay the remaining amount of your purchase with any credit card accepted by Dell. A. We value our relationship with you and want to make sure that you're satisfied with purchases made using your Dell Promotional Card. Return of merchandise will be processed according to Dell's Return Policy. If you receive a credit, the portion paid with your Dell Promotional Card (excluding shipping & handling) will be allocated back to the Dell Promotional Card within 3 to 7 business days after Dell receives and processes your returned merchandise. You cannot lodge a "billing dispute" or request a "stop payment" for purchases made using the Dell Promotional Card. If you think an error has occurred with a transaction, you should contact Dell directly.
