Large capacity dust canister
Easy to clean, large capacity canister can accommodate your dustiest days.
The washable filter makes for easy and cost-effective maintenance.
After researching and viewing videos about robo vacs I decided on this one. Our house is all tile and this product gets all the dust bunnies and everything off the floor. Battery lasts the whole house and removal of waste is easy. I have never owned any brand of robo vac so I cant say how the others work but I did watch alot of youtube videos to make my decision.

Excellent suction and performance

Goes great over hardwood and carpet - no issues negotiating a change. Cleans better than my upright. Wish I could tell it which room to clean and it would only do that. Would definitely purchase again !!

This is our second robotic vacuum. It outperforms our expectations. It does a wonderful job maneuvering around our home. We are cat lovers and have several large cat play toys and a large furniture / medium room layout. It rarely gets caught on anything. If it does, it's on a table leg, or corner where one wheel gets lifted. Give it a tap, restart it, and it continues with out a problem. It happens once every 5 to 8 operations or less. Compared to our old Bob Sweep, (which we liked), the Samsung is much more sophisticated and efficient. The only downside is that on high vacuum power, the battery does run out fairly quickly. On the medium setting, it does the entire ground floor of our home on one charge. ( we have an entry way rug that is very textured, it requires the high speed to clean it well )

One BotVac to Rule Them All!
Author Name: DianaJ Rating: 5
At this point I’ve had the opportunity to try Roomba, Neato, and POWERbot, so I thought I'd share my experiences with them. Of course, YMMV. For all of them you can program to clean at a specific time each day, or vacuum on demand. So they all have that going for them. Roomba 860: A neighbor let me borrow his new Roomba to test it out, which is what started all this. It is okay, but not great. The method it employs can be best described as that of a really good housekeeper who did a few shots before starting up the vacuum. :) It got the job done but the route was more entertaining than efficient. I didn’t get to try it out over multiple uses so I don’t know if it would lose suction if not emptied daily, but from the way it’s built I’m guessing probably. The bin was easy to empty though I can see large furballs and dustbunnies getting stuck in there pretty easily. The noise level isn't bad, but it would be irritating if you were trying to listen to a phone call or the television. Neato D80: This was better than the Roomba for cleaning. It maps out a room, vacuums all around the edges and furniture (though still bumps everything), then goes in rows until complete and onto the next room. As long as the door is open it will go in there. It managed the whole ground floor of my home on one charge, no problem. The one issue was that if you don’t empty the bin after each and every use, the next time the suction suffers. The bin is easy enough to empty though so not a major deal. It was louder than the Roomba, and because my entire ground floor is hard flooring, a combination of bamboo, tile and stone, it made this really weird noise like squeaky sneakers as it cleaned. I didn't try it on the carpeting upstairs given how much the suction suffered after one use downstairs so I can't say how it is on carpet. POWERbot R9250: This is the one I ended up getting after returning the Neato, and I’m very happy with it. It is more expensive but is solidly built like a regular vacuum cleaner. The Roomba and Neato felt like toys in comparison, like if you kick it or trip over it you might break it, the POWERbot however might break your toe. Or at least make you spew some creative expletives. This one is really meticulous in the way it cleans! It goes in rows and goes right up to the walls and furniture but doesn’t smack into them as heavily the others did, but will occasionally bump something lightly. I don’t have much use for the wi-fi right now, but may later. On regular clean mode it is still quieter than the Neato (this was a huge deal for me since I work from home and need to be able to hear meetings) and in regular mode it's probably on par with the noise level of the Roomba even though it’s supposed to be way more powerful. There is also a power mode, which is marginally louder, and a quiet mode which could vacuum around you while you’re on a call or watching TV and not make too much of a noise problem (and that's on hard bamboo flooring, it would be even quieter on carpet). With my home I’ll probably never need it to since each level doesn’t have a ton of floor space, but if it runs out of battery before it is done it will go back to the charger to recharge then pick up where it left off. It has the largest dustbin of all of them, and because it’s built more like an upright supposedly won’t lose suction if you don’t empty it after each use. It also comes with a remote you can use to guide the vacuum to where you want it to clean, then point at the spot you need it to work on. The one drawback on it that I noticed is that if you run it on max clean (which makes it vacuum over and over until the battery runs out) it seems to have difficulty finding its charger if it is in another room. It kept trying to go directly to the charger only to realize there's a wall there and then tries from another angle. I'm sure it would have eventually found the charger, but I took pity on it and carried it home. The nextday I tried it out upstairs, where it easily went under the beds and tackled dust bunnies that likely predate at least one of my pets. No problem whatsoever. I then recharged it and set it to clean downstairs, to see if it loses suction with the bin not being empty (it was over half full). It still picked up all the stuff on the floor, with no problem. Once it was done I emptied the bin and it was pretty packed, so this is not one you will have to empty before running it. Overall they were all good and they got the job done. But the POWERbot is the one I will keep and the one I’d have no qualms about recommending. It is a little taller and wider than the others so may not fit under some furniture in all homes. In my house that's not a problem as most furniture is 6" or more clearance, so ample room for the POWERbot so it gets under beds, sofas, and most tables. It is too wide to go under the dining room chairs or breakfast bar stools, but those are easy to move if I want a more thorough cleaning in that area.

Uniquely Capable on Carpets
Author Name: glresearch Rating: 5
The Easy Pass wheels on Powerbot's make a critical difference for cleaning wall-to-wall and other carpets. This carpeting can become slick with time and prevent all the robots with small wheels from moving on it. Samsung's larger four inch wheels, also with a more tacky consistency, work perfectly well on such carpets, making this the ONLY robot option in this case, at least for covering anything more than one small room. The other Powerbot features are fully up to the best available in the industry, especially the washable permanent filter system, found only on the most expensive competitors.

Good Robot Vacuum
Author Name: CHome Rating: 4
I have owed this vacuum for about 2 weeks now. Overall it seens to do its job, it is quiet, and does not stress my pets out. There are some features that I would like to see in future versions. Here are the Pros and Cons so far Pro's: 1. The unit likes to vacuum in strait lines which is nice, however sometimes it gets confused and goes in strange patterns. still it vacuums the area. 2. very good suction power. you can adjust it from low, medium, and high. Medium on my carpet/hardwood let it vacuum my main floor with plenty battery left over 1800 SqFt. 3. Charge time is very quick. Takes about 60 minutes to go from dead to full charge. 4. The collection bin is large and easy to empty/clean. 5. I have 3 large dogs and since I started this thing a week ago, I have not had to hurdle humongous hair bunnies that are created by my dogs 6. Navigates well. My house is a literal maze and it does a good job navigating 7. Easy to take apart and clean all parts. Cons: - has a hard time getting on carpets that are easily moved. - Gets confused sometimes. goes in circles. Has to be reset to fix issue. - will decide to vacuum at a diagonal (May or may not be a con) still gets everything just weird - when sent home it sometimes gets confused on the rout to take. Might be where I have the base. - Magnetic tape sent with unit is too short. Need to send at least 4 of the same length to ensure there is enough for people to limit the units movement. This really should not be a problem. I am sure the tape is cheap. in the future this needs to be corrected. Features that could make this unit better. 1. Slightly larger battery for those times when you vacuum on high. 2. Ship with more than 3ft of magnetic tape. 3. Develop the ability to automatically switch to high suction when on a carpet then down shift when on hardwood/tile 4. Fantasy I know, but the ability to empty itself. into the base station maybe. (Futuristic) Overall I like the unit. it has its quirks but it does a decent job and my house is no longer covered in dust bunnies from the depths of hades.

Great machine but

Just Wish it went under furniture that's the only problem. My other one was able to go under the couches and between the legs of the chairs, this one is too big! So I still have to move furniture!

On paper this unit is very impressive. But in realty has issues that are frustrating. Unit gets lost and will actually run completely down trying to find its way back home. This happens about 25% of the time. The display will continually reads full when in use and not show type of cleaning path, this happens about 50% of the time. I have to do a hard reset to get the proper function again. Yes I have notified the proper people and they agree it does not function correctly. But corse of action from there I don't find to be an acceptable solution

a good idea - it is bad done ...
Author Name: Alex2017 Rating: 2
The vacuum cleaner during work very often gets stuck. Sometimes when just turns around a wall or chair. It is necessary to make a program change so that it does not go backwards. There are no sensors behind, it broken a vase which was standing on the floor. When it go backward he tilted it and dropped it.

Stopped working properly after 3 months
Author Name: steve00001 Rating: 1
This worked well for 3 months, then suddenly stopped working correctly. It leaves its base, goes forward 3 feet and goes in circles and returns saying it cleaned the entire house. I went through all the trouble shooting steps to no avail. I wish I could return it to the store, but too late. I have not had time to call support for this, so it just sits there not being used.
