| E-quote Enhancements |
Checkout information, including billing, shipping, and/or
payment fields, can be included when a user saves an
E-quote.
You can now edit your E-quotes. A new E-quote is
created from the old E-quote, pricing is updated, and the new
E-quote references the old E-quote both in emails and on the
confirmation screen.
You are notified when your E-quotes contain items that
are no longer available. Upon retrieval of an invalid
E-quote, you will receive messaging and will be given the
option to delete or edit the E-quote.
Buyers are now able to filter the E-quote Retrieval list by
each buyer (purchasing agent) name. The E-quote list
includes the ability to display and sort by multiple fields
(E-quote name, E-quote description, Date Saved, Expiration
Date, E-quote creator, and E-quote buyer).

This
new feature allows you to save frequently used Orderforms
or "draft" E-quotes, saving you time by eliminating the need
to recreate the Orderform multiple times. Your
Templates are viewable only by you! |
| Tax and Shipping |
Dell now displays estimated standard shipping costs and
tax information (US only) online during checkout, providing
you with a more accurate estimate of the cost of your total
order. |
| Address Validation |
Every combination of a city, state and zip code entered
will be validated for accuracy….which results in faster
processing of your order. |
| Product Comparison |
You can now place multiple configurations side by side to
evaluate configuration components and pricing
differences. |
| Custom Leasing |
Your organization's Custom Lease configurations are now
available to you online. You can now take full advantage
of all the payment options available to your organization when
shopping online. |
| Custom Factory Integration |
Dell's complete Custom Factory Integration (CFI) products
and services are now available online through your
organization's Standard Configurations and Special
Offers. |
| Custom Fields |
Dell can now pre-populate your
organization's Custom Fields for you during the checkout
process. We can enter up to fifteen values per
Custom Field so that as you are
placing an order, you can simply select the
value for that field, rather than having to type it
in. |
| Credit Card Number Storage |
For Premier customers
who purchase with Credit Cards and Procurement Cards, Dell can
now pre-populate the Card numbers and mask portions of the
card number during the customer checkout process. |
| International Checkout |
Dell has reformatted our checkout
pages to accommodate International address and phone number
information. To help our
International customers place orders more
easily, we can now accept International addresses
and phone numbers online.
