To consolidate server I/O for open systems using emerging Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) and Data Center Bridging (DCB)/Converged Enhanced Ethernet (CEE), the PowerConnect B-DCX 4S can provide high density, end-of-row connectivity. Alternatively, the PowerConnect B-8000 top-of-rack switch can be connected over Fibre Channel ISLs to DCX Backbones in the network core.
