|Enjoy the convenience of Dell's In-Home Repair Service following phone and/or online remote diagnosis.* For issues covered by your Limited Hardware Warranty, technician and/or part will be dispatched, if necessary, usually within 1 or 2 business days following completion of remote diagnosis. In-Home Service is available, Monday to Friday during standard service hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., business day.|
Service is carried out in accordance with Dell’s terms and conditions. Copies are available on request
|This service allows you to deliver and pick up your system at your own expense, for any repair, to and from Dell’s designated repair centre at your convenience. Prior to sending your system to the repair centre, you must contact Dell telephone technician for remote diagnosis. If the replacement is required, Dell telephone technician will provide you the details of your nearest repair center for drop-off.|
Dell's designated repair centres are currently located in six metropolitan locations: Homebush, Sydney; South Melbourne, Melbourne; Eagle Farm, Brisbane; Ridleyton, Adelaide; Rivervale, Perth; and Fyshwick, Canberra. If you live outside these locations, an upgrade to the In-Home Service is highly recommended, where you can enjoy the convenience of a local technician to provide support in your home, following complete remote diagnosis.
Carry-in Service is available during standard hours, Monday to Friday (exclude public holidays):-
The approximate repair lead time is between 3 to 6 business days from the system receipt date, subject to Dell Authorized Repair Centre’s ability to replicate the faults and parts availability. You are required to send in the faulty system to the Dell designated repair centre before 5 p.m. If faulty system is received after 4 p.m., the repair will start only on the next business day.
