Join the conversation. #DellCAPCanada

In October 2011, Dell had the honor of hosting 14 social media savvy customers at the first Canada CAP Day in Toronto. The goal of the event was to listen and learn from our customers who are most vocal online. In addition to the people attending live in the room, we had participants via Twitter using the #DellCAPCanada hashtag. The event was promoted on Facebook and Flickr. Below is a brief summary of the activity and the impact:

The morning kicked off with introductions from Phil Bryant and David Miketinac along with our moderator Mark Evans @MarkEvans, founder of Canada’s leading digital conference and principal with ME Consulting. All participants introduced themselves and shared what they wanted out of the day. From there, the conversation moved to customer support with Jason Duty @JasonatDell and David Bohl. The afternoon session focused on the product purchase process and overall product quality with Brad Penner and Anne Camden @AnneatDell who revealed the Latitude ST tablet and new XPS 14z to the group. The day wrapped with discussions on sustainability/recycling with Rebecca Wellum and social media.
