Dell also offers co-op positions that last for four, six or eight months throughout the year. To be eligible, you must be a graduate or undergraduate student enrolled in a formal co-operative program at an accredited college or university. You’ll gain academic credit for your assignments while you’re with us. Jump Start Graduate Development ProgramJump Start Graduate Development Program

As part of Dell’s strong commitment to guide and develop young professionals, we launched Jump Start Graduate Development Program to help recent graduates integrate easily into the Dell culture and work environment.

The Jump Start Graduate Development Program courses will be taken by recent graduate hires during their first year after joining Dell and equips them with learning and resources to align to Dell’s Culture Code, establish relationships, build a professional network, develop a career plan, and more!

This instructor-led training and self-paced learning will provide recent graduate hires with the tools and training to grow and thrive within Dell. They will be given the opportunity to connect and network with team members and leaders who will encourage them to start mapping their career in Dell.

With Jump Start Graduate Development Program recent graduate hires will:

  • Align to Dell Culture Code.
  • Define and build relationships with leaders and peers.
  • Determine strengths and position their brand.

Accounting Intern Program

The Accounting Intern Program is an 11-week intensive development opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a 5-year accounting program (or who will have equivalent credit hours required to become a Certified Public Accountant). In the program, interns have opportunities for real-world work experiences through at least one specific project that culminates in an end-of-summer presentation to executive management. The summer internship also includes intern-specific team building events, an executive speaker series, and networking opportunities with participants in other Dell development programs and coworkers

Dell Financial Services Intern Program

As Dell’s captive financing arm, Dell Financial Services (DFS) facilitates financing of technology products and services for consumers, businesses, and educational and public institutions. Working at DFS is a unique opportunity in that Interns are exposed to the full operating structure of the financing business. Interns at DFS are included in the Finance Intern Program at Dell and will work on challenging and strategic projects in a variety of key functional areas within DFS. DFS Interns will also have access to additional DFS-specific resources and activities such as a DFS Managers Speaker Series.

The Global Sales and Business Operations Internship is a 10 to 12 week summer program providing insight into the behind-the-scenes projects that support positive customer engagement and an optimized end-to-end order experience. Participating departments may include Global Sales Planning & Analysis, Americas Sales Finance & Operations, Data Analytics, Inside Sales Operations, Pricing Strategy & Operations, and Americas Partner Sales Operations.

Global Services and Deployment Internship

Global Services and Deployment is made up of global operations teams to include customer service, supply chain, and professional services; marketing and sales operations teams, finance, engineering, and more. Interns, joining this team, will be expected to apply strong consulting skills to broad set of business improvement opportunities, including: mergers and acquisitions, operations improvement, cost reduction and business optimization.

Inside Sales Internship Program

The Inside Sales Internship provides a unique opportunity for students to receive continuous training focused on sales skills and technology, but also allows students to get a hands-on understanding of what a career in sales is like.

The internship begins with a 3 week training program to enable you to have success when talking to customers. You will learn valuable technical, sales, and business skills. Following the 3 week program, you will participate in many demand generation activities. Successful completion of the program often leads to full time opportunities post- graduation.

IT Internship

The Dell IT internship is a 10-12 week program designed for top performing undergraduate or graduate students. As an IT intern, you will undertake challenging, strategic, and operational projects. You will be given a manager who is committed to your success and will provide a detailed project plan for success and regularly meet 1x1 to provide support and network opportunities within the company.

The Marketing Internship Program invites students from select universities to join Dell marketing organization over the summer for a 10-12 week internship. Interns provide fresh insights into key strategic projects, and the program provides students an incredible learning experience and career development opportunity. Opportunities can range in: Branding, Events, Product Management, Social Media, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Field Marketing, Marketing Intelligence and more.

Dell Accounting Development Program (ADP) is designed to create our next generation of accounting leaders by offering participants the ability to rotate through several challenging positions while participating in enhanced accounting training and networking opportunities. The program includes three consecutive one-year assignments through defined accounting domains, and participants are eligible to earn the opportunity to spend six months working on a global assignment.

Business Operations Leadership Development Program

The Business Operations Leadership Development Program (BOLD) is a two years and five months to three years job rotation program that includes a comprehensive training curriculum, ongoing mentoring, and numerous networking opportunities. Program members may be assigned to rotations across several Business Operations functions such as financial planning and analysis, data science and analytics, pricing, sales operations, and Go To Market strategy. We are looking for enthusiastic, collaborative, results-oriented individuals with strong analytical and problem solving skills. Success in the BOLD Program requires the ability to thrive in a constantly changing fast-paced environment.

Client Development Program

The Client Development Program is a twelve-month program in support of Dell commitment to help our people and our community to grow and thrive. This program equips recent graduates with the tools to begin building a firm career foundation through challenging and strategic assignments across the Client Support organization. This program includes exposure to data analytics, leadership curriculum and leadership- and peer-level mentoring. Participants will also engage in high-visibility networking opportunities, community service events and leadership speaker series

Engineering Leadership Development Program

The Core Technologies Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) creates a pipeline of future technical leaders. We hire a diverse set of new college graduates with technical and leadership skills. ELDP members work through three nine-month job rotations ranging from engineering to marketing to delivery. This broad business view helps them build the skills, perspectives, and connections to enable them to become solution architects, Chief Strategists, and CTOs. Additionally, their unique perspective and cross-business connections benefit the groups they rotate through. ELDP attracts and grows top talent, guiding them on a career path toward technical and product leadership.

Finance Training & Development Program

Dell Finance Training and Development Program provides entry-level finance employees an opportunity to launch their finance careers. The program consists of global finance rotational assignments and a significant academic focus to provide real, hands-on experiences and build solid finance and business skills.

Participants typically experience a rotation assignment in a corporate, business, operational, or accounting-focused position.

Finance Graduate Program

Time commitment: Six months
Level: Entry-level

The purpose of the Finance Graduate Program is to develop talent beyond analytical skills by focusing on key soft skills and interpersonal competencies necessary for success at Dell. This program is designed to nurture the future leaders of Dell.

The program curriculum covers all development areas, which are necessary for fresh graduates to start up their career in an international finance organization. It focuses on development through individual and team trainings covering finance, technical and soft skills. A successful candidate should be fluent in English and have a desire to start a career in corporate finance.

Global Services Associate Program

Global Services Associate ProgramWho: Entry Level recent grads up to five years of experience (depending on role within program)

Time commitment: 18 - 30 months (depending on role within program)

The Global Services Associate Program (GSAP) recruits and hires candidates locally and provides training centrally in one of our 10 global training locations. As a GSAP Associate, you will be developed through a structured program that combines intensive training and practical experience in a multi-week Boot Camp. This Boot Camp includes an introduction to the storage industry, best practices and methodologies and the Dell EMC way of doing business. Your training will include hands-on work with Dell EMC products and platforms and storage infrastructure tools. You will also receive the foundation necessary to achieve technical certifications (Dell EMC and Non- Dell EMC).

All of this technical training is combined with extensive professional skills and role-specific training. Ultimately, you will transition out of your training Boot Camp to your full time role. At that point, you will take on the daily responsibilities of your job with the guidance of your mentor and pursue further post-Boot Camp development to ensure that your skills keep up with the demands of the company and IT industry. You are reviewed on your performance bi-annually and are eligible for merit increases with each program review. Upon successfully completing the program, you will be eligible for a promotion to the next job level within the Business Unit you are aligned to.


Global Enterprise Services Leadership Development Program

The Global Enterprise Services Leadership Development Program (GESLDP) is a rotational program consisting of four 6 month rotations. These assignments will provide exposure to the diverse areas of Global Enterprise Services including but not limited to our Customer Service, Professional Service, Strategy and Operations, and Go To Market organizations. We aim to build future leaders through strategic GES experiences, foundational leadership training, and professional networking skills. The program accelerates our associate’s careers and delivers high performance and strategic thinking to the business. We are looking for individuals who can think strategically and solve problems. The ability to multi-task in a fast paced and rapidly changing technical environment as well as the talent to be a thought leader are key components to be successful in this program.

Inside Sales Development Program

The Inside Sales organization is a world class, innovative, and operationally efficient sales engine. The primary goal of this program is to train and develop the next generation of sales leaders, all while driving demand and revenue.

You’ll experience intense product and sales training and valuable mentoring. You will also be responsible for making outbound calls to both prospect and install customers to help align our strategies and solutions to solve IT challenges. At the conclusion of the two to three years you will have the opportunity to join our field selling organization or become part of the inside sales leadership team.

HR Rotation Program

Dell Human Resources Rotation Program is designed to build a team of well-rounded HR professionals who can innovate, think strategically, build strong relationships with clients, keep our customers in mind, drive results and lead the future of HR at Dell Technologies.

Participants typically experience a rotation assignment: in a business- aligned HR position, in an HR Specialty role, such as compensation, talent acquisition or benefits, or on a key strategic project or activity.

IT Development Program

The IT Development Program provides talented and ambitious graduates the opportunity to leverage their education, demonstrated leadership, and passion for technology to develop the technical, business, and consulting skills essential for today’s technology leaders. The 2-3 year program provides opportunities for graduates to participate in rotational experiences, or specialize in a particular IT discipline. All members of the IT program will have the opportunity to build a strong professional network, sharpen skills in a robust training program, and participate in stretch assignments to solve real-life business problems through global teamwork.

Supply Chain Development Program

Supply Chain Development Program

Who: Select entry-level graduates from top supply chain schools
Where: Austin, TX
Time commitment: Three Years

The Supply Chain Development Program (SCDP) gives entry-level college graduates an opportunity to launch their Supply Chain careers. The program consists of three different one year rotational assignments (i.e. logistics, operations, procurement) and a significant training curriculum focus to build solid Supply Chain and business skills. Participants also have mentors and advisors to help them with their career development. This program kicked-off in Austin in June 2014 with top talent undergraduate university recruits.

Marketing College Hire Program
Marketing College Hire ProgramWho: Recent Bachelors Graduates (Marketing or Other Relevant Major)
Where: United States
Time Commitment: Two Years
Level: Entry-level

Within eighteen months of the completion of your Bachelor’s Degree and acceptance of a full-time offer within marketing, you will be placed into the Marketing College Hire Program for a period of two years. Within those two years, you will complete two one-year rotations ranging from core marketing roles (Global Communications, Field & Partner Marketing, Digital Experience, Global Events) to those within our Product Marketing divisions. In addition to learning via responsibilities within rotations, program participants have access to comprehensive career development through customized trainings, coaching and mentoring, extensive networking, and community service opportunities. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are integrated into the business with a greater understanding of Dell, the technology industry and marketing within a large organization.
