Dell today announced that the highly-acclaimed authors of the Freakonomics and SuperFreakonomics books, Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner, will deliver the closing Dell World 2012 keynote, “Think like a Freak.” Based on their upcoming book in the Freakonomics series, Levitt and Dubner’s “Think like a Freak” speech will take the authors’ popular counterintuitive concepts to the next level, providing attendees with new ways to think about problem solving in both their personal and professional lives.
“Every day customers tell us they are seeking new ways to drive results faster and grow, which drives our commitment to deliver superior, end-to-end solutions that allow them to truly transform their organizations,” said Steve Felice, Dell president and chief commercial officer. “Levitt and Dubner’s work exemplifies the power of innovative thinking, and I have no doubt their ‘Think Like a Freak’ keynote at Dell World will inspire attendees to make positive changes in their organizations.”
The “Think Like a Freak” keynote will provide Dell World attendees with tools to help them gain insights into problem solving that can be applied to creating and implementing solutions within their organizations. Each concept by Levitt and Dubner will be brought to life through a captivating story or example, providing ideas for profitable thinking.
“Sometimes it takes thinking like a freak to create the types of one-of-a-kind solutions that really make a difference,” said Levitt and Dubner. “We look forward to inspiring this kind of innovative thinking at Dell World 2012.”
The “Think Like a Freak” keynote will take place at 4 p.m. CST at Dell World on Dec. 13, 2012 at the Austin Convention Center. For additional information on Dell World 2012 and to register, please visit www.DellWorld.com.
