Dell will host its second European Dell Storage Forum on 13 – 16 November 2012 at the Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel in Paris. Dell Storage Forum Paris will provide Dell’s channel partners and customers with exclusive insight through executive keynotes, technical deep dives, roadmap sessions, new product demonstrations and instructor-led training aimed at reducing the complexity of data management and maximising storage investments. Attendees will be given unique hands-on access to Dell storage solutions, including the latest from Dell Compellent, EqualLogic, PowerVault and DX Object Storage, among others.
Dell Storage Forum Paris will underscore a “Fluid Forward” concept, unveiling the next set of advancements of Dell Fluid Data architecture, including new efficiency, performance and protection capabilities that further deliver on the promise of an end-to-end storage architecture that optimises data throughout its lifecycle to drive business results for customers.
As organisations globally strive to keep pace with expansive data growth and address new compute models from converged to cloud to desktop virtualization, Dell continues to deliver innovation that saves companies time and money while reducing the risks they face. Dell Storage Forum will offer further insights into Dell’s future storage vision, architecture and roadmap while also delivering additional knowledge about how customers can further maximise the set of Dell solutions they have in place in their data centres today.
This event offers a unique opportunity to gain actionable insights through technical breakouts, hands-on labs, executive keynotes, roadmap sessions and demos of the latest products. Unlike other industry events, attendees get open access to Dell experts and executives in an environment focused on helping them accelerate business outcomes.
Dell Storage Forum Paris will facilitate an open forum enabling customers, partners and Dell leaders to discuss business challenges, key industry trends and best practices with intense learning about all the capabilities and features Dell offers. With dedicated agendas for Dell channel partners and customers, the event aims to build on excellent feedback following Dell Storage Forum London where 100 percent of attendees surveyed stated the forum met or exceeded their expectations. Based on attendee feedback, Dell has added more advanced, technical sessions and a deep-dive architecture keynote to the Paris agenda.
“Dell storage continues to invest ahead of key trends to deliver capabilities that customers truly want,” said Darren Thomas, vice president and general manager of Dell Storage. “We are investing to move active data closer to compute to optimize workload performance from the peak to the predictable. We continue to invest in maximizing TCO by leveraging our Fluid Data architecture to deliver the industry’s best automated data tiering, data protection, backup and recovery with industry leading features that are easy to use and deploy.”
Dell Storage Forum includes sponsorship from Dell technology partners Brocade, CommVault, DataCore Software, F5, Microsoft, Quest, and Silver Peak at the petabyte level, Broadcom and Emulex at the gigabyte level, and Ippany and Mezeo at the megabyte level.
Registration for Dell Storage Forum Paris is now open.
