Liberty Hill ISD Creates Next Generation Learning Environment with Dell
- Liberty Hill ISD expands its long partnership with Dell to plan for the future as its student population grows
- Educators choose Dell to help ready their students for challenges of a high tech world
Dell announced today that Liberty Hill Independent School District has built its brand new high school with Dell’s end-to-end technology to advance interactive and personalized learning. To meet the demands of its growing student population, Liberty Hill ISD turned to Dell to help create a learning environment that would develop the skills students need for success in an increasingly digital world. Students and teachers went back to school with new Dell devices in their computer labs and classrooms Liberty Hill ISD already relies on Dell for infrastructure, software, devices and support in its other schools; continuing to partner with Dell streamlines IT implementation for the district and enables its educators to concentrate on student achievement.
“Liberty Hill is growing rapidly, and we want to be sure our schools continue to support the learning needs of our students and teachers,” says Dr. Rob Hart, Superintendent, Liberty Hill ISD. “Dell’s partnership has been invaluable in our district’s quest to prepare our students for the future and provide them with 21st Century learning tools. Their broad portfolio of technology and years of expertise in education has empowered our IT Department to keep pace with our growing district and easily integrate the latest innovations in the classroom.”
The OptiPlex 3010 will serve as a powerful learning tool students can access in the school’s computer labs to work on assignments and create next generation projects such as digital portfolios and web sites. Inside the classroom, Liberty Hill ISD chose Dell’s Latitude E5530 laptop and cart to mobilize learning and enable students to direct their progress outside of traditional instruction time.
The district simplified deployment and maintenance of its technology ecosystem with Dell’s software and services. Dell Services helped provision Liberty Hill High Schools’ computers so they are up and running quickly. All of Liberty Hill’s endpoints will be centrally managed through software solutions from Dell that includes the KACE K1000 and K2000 appliances. Liberty Hill ISD developed the IT environment that fit their budget and unique learning needs so that its students are prepared for future success.
