On January 23, Dell Services hosted a think tank event, “New Age of Apps and the Delivery Gaps,” at NEA’s Menlo Park office. The event was moderated by Dell’s Barton George, and the panel was comprised of 10 IT experts with professional experiences ranging from startups to established enterprises:

The discussion was broken into two sessions with topics including, APIs, best practices in the ‘Greenfield,’ the evolving role and responsibilities of today’s CIO, compliancy and security issues, app developers, and open-source.

The event was streamed live and live-tweeted, yielding high online conversation and engagement with a Twitter reach of 14.8 million.
