What are Dell Outlet Products?
A Dell Outlet is the place to go to find great savings on some of the latest refurbished Dell technology, already built and ready to ship. This is product that has been returned to Dell for a variety of reasons including cancellations and specifications changes. All products have been tested and repackaged to Dell Outlet standards. Dell Outlet also offers standard limited warranty coverage and the same excellent Dell service and support on our refurbished products as we do on our new systems. Please note that our inventory is sold on a "first come, first served" basis and changes rapidly. We cannot guarantee that all displayed products will be available at the time of your call.

Does my desktop come standard with a monitor?
A Dell Outlet Systems are sold without monitors. If you wish to purchase a monitor please contact Chat or call us for Free on 0800-587-0420 (UK) | 1800-812-560 (IRE). Monday to Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm.

Q Can I modify any configurations?
A We do not modify internal components. However, we can upgrade warranties, peripherals and accessories as listed on the accessory page in the stock room.

What methods of Payment do you Accept?
A Methods of Payment: Visa, Master, Maestro, Amex.

Your order will not ship until your purchase has been approved, and your card will not be charged until your order is shipped. (A hold for the purchase amount may be placed on your card until your order is shipped and your card is charged). We usually ship your system(s) within an estimated 7-10 working days after order payment has been approved and verified.

Please note that in order for you to complete a transaction successfully, your billing and shipping addresses must be as the address that appears on your credit card statement. If you have to ship to a different address, then you need to register the shipping details with your credit card company before we can process your order. This is Dell's policy and is with a view to your protection.

Can I get Dell Leasing?
A We do not offer leasing or personal finance or cheques option available with Dell Outlet.

What software is included?
A All refurbished desktop and notebook systems from Dell Outlet ship with the operating system that they were originally sold with. Please note there is no operating system included on server offers.

When do you ship?
A We usually ship your system(s) within an estimated 7-10 business days after order payment has been approved and verified. All units are fully tested before being put into our stockroom which ensures that they are ready to be shipped immediately. It is not possible to make changes to any system but you may add certain accessories where applicable.

Q Is customer support the same as new?

A Yes. We are happy to offer Dell Online Outlet customers the same high-quality customer support that comes with new Dell systems.

What if I receive a damaged system?
A If any refurbished equipment was damaged or lost in transit, or, if you received a system other than what you ordered, please go to Support Link. Dell Outlet sells refurbished computer equipment that has been returned to Dell for a variety of reasons. Occasionally products purchased will come with superficial marks such as minor scratches, which do not affect performance, functionality, the quality of the product or its overall fitness for use. Also, on occasion, parts/components may be used for repair, which may vary, in terms of colour only, from product purchased. Purchases are made subject to these conditions but other statutory rights are not affected.

Can I buy Dell Outlet systems if I live outside of the U.K.?
A No — not currently. You must live in the U.K., have a U.K. delivery address and a U.K. credit card when purchasing with Dell Outlet online. If you are in Ireland however you can chat or call our team on 1800 812 560 to make an order.

Q How do I contact support?
A You can get live answers from a Dell Product advisor through Online Chat support. Product advisors will endeavour to help you choose the right product as per your requirements. Advisors are available from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. GMT Monday – Friday.

Q Can I cancel my order?
A It’s only possible to cancel your order before we start to manufacture it. To check if it’s still possible to cancel, please contact Dell Outlet Customer Care on the following number: 0844 444 4712 .Calls cost 5p plus up to 5p/min from a BT landline. Check your mobile or other providers’ charges, as charges may vary. If your order has passed “In Production” or “Shipped,” it’s no longer possible to cancel it. However, after you receive delivery of your order, you still have the option to return it to Dell within 14 Days from the receipt of order.

Q What is Dell Outlet's returns policy?

Consumer Returns Policy:
• Consumer customers have, for a short period and in line with Dell’s Terms and Conditions of Sale, the right to cancel their purchase contract and return the product in line with applicable distance selling legislation. A reasonable charge will be payable to cover the costs of collection and this will simply be deducted from your refund. Commercial Returns Policy:
• Commercial and Public Sector customers have no automatic right of return without cause (e.g. later than estimated delivery, changing purchase plans or finding a cheaper alternative). In line with Dell’s standard Commercial Terms of Sale, customers will of course be able to return any product which is missing, wrong or damaged following delivery and customers should notify Dell as soon as possible in these circumstances, following which Dell will arrange repair or replacement of the relevant product.
