OptiPlex XE

Built for the special needs of retailers

The OptiPlex XE is designed for retailers who need a PC that can stand up to challenging environments and deliver performance and reliability. The OptiPlex XE features:

  • A stable, 42-month purchase lifecycle: A three-and-a-half-year purchase life cycle helps reduce the cost and complexity normally associated with system recertification. A 6-month managed-transition period makes it easy to maintain a consistent environment while planning for future deployments. Add optional service and support features to supplement the standard limited hardware warranty.
  • Efficient remote management and simplified maintenance: Broadcom® TruManage™ remote management technology and an optional watchdog timer enable you to diagnose and resolve issues remotely. Dell DirectDetect™ LEDs help diagnose system problems, and the toolless chassis and power supply speed parts replacement.
  • Retail peripheral support: With native PS/2, 24V P-USB and Powered Serial RS-232 connections and support for dual monitors and dual NICs, the OptiPlex XE meets your peripheral support needs today and tomorrow. Optional 12V P-USB and additional Powered Serial RS-232 are available via add-in cards.
