What is the Dell Advantage Loyalty Program?
When you purchase with your Dell Advantage membership, you'll enjoy free second business day shipping* on all purchases, a Dell promo eGift Card* worth 5% of your purchase (excludes taxes and shipping) redeemable toward future purchases, and more. There is no charge to become a member, and you can start earning benefits today!

When/How do I get my 5% Dell promo egift card* after I purchase using my Dell Advantage account?
You will typically receive your Dell promo eGift card within 10-20 days of ship date which carries an expiration date of 90 days from date of issuance. You cannot use your Dell promo eGift card until after you receive it via email or in the mail. Don’t forget to check your spam/junk folders for the Dell promo eGift card receipt!

How do I enroll in Dell Advantage?
Simply register a new account at Dell.com/Advantage under “register now.” You will receive a welcome email to confirm your membership to Dell Advantage at the email address you registered with. Be sure to check your junk/spam folder.

How does Dell Advantage differ from my Dell Preferred Account?
Your Dell Advantage account is a loyalty membership program with Dell, which gives you access to free 2nd business day shipping* and 5% back (excludes taxes and shipping) in the form of a Dell promo egift card*. A Dell Preferred Account is Dell’s financing program which gives you the option to make monthly payments on your purchase.

Is Dell Advantage the same as “My Account” at Dell.com?
For customers who already have a “My Account,” please note that your Dell Advantage account is separate from your “My Account” with Dell. Each account may use a different email address. You must have a registered Dell Advantage account in order to receive Dell Advantage benefits.

What is a Dell Advantage Key?
Your Dell Advantage key is used to apply your benefits when you check out. Please create a key that is at least six characters and includes at least one letter and one number.

Does it cost anything to be a Dell Advantage member?
No. There's no fee to join and no ongoing membership fee.

When can I start using my benefits?
You can begin applying your benefits as soon as you enroll in the program. You must apply benefits in the cart screen to ensure that you receive free 2nd business day shipping* and your Dell promo egift card*.

I never received my welcome email after registering a new membership Dell with Advantage.
Occasionally, your welcome email will fall into your junk or spam folders in your email. In addition, make sure you are checking the inbox of the email address you registered with Dell Advantage.

How do I reset my Dell Advantage key? I can’t remember my password.
At Dell.com/Advantage, select “manage my account” and select “need help logging in?” From there you will input the email address you used to register for Dell Advantage, and will receive prompts to reset your password in your email inbox.

How do I unsubscribe from Dell Advantage monthly special offer emails?
When registering for Dell Advantage, you can select to not receive emails with monthly offers. Or, if you are currently receiving special monthly offers, you can select “unsubscribe” at the bottom of your current emails.

Can I use my Dell promo eGift card* the same day I make my initial purchase?
You will typically receive your Dell promo eGift card within 10-20 days of invoice date which carries an expiration date of 90 days from date of issuance. You cannot use your Dell promo eGift card until after you receive it via your email or in the mail. Don’t forget to check your spam/junk folders for the Dell promo eGift card receipt!

Is the Dell promo eGift card* a promo gift card?
Yes, it is a promo gift card, which means it expires in 90 days and cannot be combined. However, you can use up to 2 Dell promo egift cards as a form of payment via phone sales.

If I use a gift card to pay for a purchase, do I get a Dell promo egift card* worth 5% of that purchase?
Yes, you get 5% back (excludes taxes and shipping) in the form of a Dell promo egift card* on any purchase you make as a Dell Advantage member.

Is the 5% Dell promo egift card* calculated pre or post tax?
The gift card is based off of the subtotal excluding tax and shipping.

Do the Dell Advantage promotions apply to purchase orders?
No, an individual needs to be a registered member to get the Advantage benefits.

What if I return my computer within the 21 day return period, will my Dell promo egift card still work?
Promotional Gift Card Offer: Offer contingent upon purchase of eligible product; Promotional card not valid if eligible product is returned for a refund. If eligible product is returned for a refund after the card has been redeemed, the value of the redeemed card will be deducted from the refund amount. Promotional Gift Card ships separately from purchase and typically arrives in 10-20 days from ship date via email and carries a 90 day expiration (except where prohibited by law). Dell can only accept a limited number of Promo Cards per purchase and funds may not be consolidated with Prepaid or other Promo Cards. Multi-card payment can be requested by phone sales only. What if I register for Dell Advantage, but forget to apply my Dell Advantage benefits at check out?
We encourage customers to apply benefits in the cart screen, to ensure you receive free 2nd business shipping* and 5% back in form of a Dell Promo egift card*. However, if you forgot to apply your benefits but registered for Dell Advantage prior to purchase, we have a process that should automatically send you a Dell promo egift card. However, if you do not select “apply my benefits,” you will not receive free 2nd business day shipping. Please see “How do I apply my Dell Advantage benefits?” for more information on receiving your benefits.

How do I apply my Dell Advantage benefits?
After personalizing your system and/or choosing your accessories, select “review and check out” then add item(s) to cart. In the cart screen, you will see a blue “Apply my Benefits” button. Once you select this, you will be prompted to enter your Dell Advantage key in a pop up screen. Upon confirmation of your Dell Advantage key, you will note that your benefits have been applied to your order and that a $1.00 charge for Dell Advantage has been removed from the end cost. You will notice the subtracted $1.00 charge near the subtotal of your order. There is no charge for Dell Advantage.

Why do I see a $1.00 charge in the cart screen?
At this time, there is no charge for Dell Advantage, which is why we automatically remove the $1.00 Dell Advantage charge from your order in the cart screen.

How do I update my Dell Advantage account preferences?
While signed onto your Dell Advantage account at Dell.com/Advantage, you can select “Update my Account Preferences” to amend your Dell Advantage Key, close your account or read more details on Dell’s Privacy Statement.

Will Dell Advantage work on outlet systems?
No.

Are Dell Advantage benefits linked to the email address only? (i.e, same customer registers multiple email addresses to receive stackable coupons?)
The DA benefits are applied on each individual order, so registering multiple email addresses won’t allow for multiple Dell promo egift cards. Also, DA coupons are single-use and non-stackable.

Will Dell retroactively apply Advantage benefits for customers who purchased before Dell Advantage launched?
No.

Will My Dell Promotional Gift Card Expire?
Yes. Dell Promotional Gift Cards carry a 90 day expiration date from the day issued.

Can I use my 5% Dell Promotional Gift Card the same day I make my purchase?
No. The Dell Promotional Gift Card ships separately from your purchase and will arrive about 10-20 days after the purchase ships. Agents are not able to provide the Gift Card number prior to this timeframe; Dell Promotional Gift Cards must be received before being used to make a purchase.

How is the 5% calculated?
The 5% is based on the purchase subtotal before tax and shipping.

What if I don't have enough on the Dell Promotional Gift Card to buy what I want? How do I combine other forms of payment?
You can only spend the available funds on your Dell Promotional Gift Card. To use your Promo Card for a purchase that is greater than the amount on the Promo Card, you may pay the remaining amount of your purchase with any credit card accepted by Dell. Except for such credit cards, Promo Cards may not be used in combination with any other form of payment including, without limitation Dell Business Credit, Dell Account or Dell Lease.

Can I use more than one Dell Promotional Gift Card per purchase?
Dell can only accept a limited number of Promotional Gift Card(s) per purchase. Promo Cards may not be combined for online purchases. To request to use more than one Promo Card to complete your purchase, please call 1-866-456-0827, 8 AM – 11 PM CST. Dell reserves the right to reject request for consolidation of any Dell Gift Cards at its own discretion for any reason.

Can I Merge the Funds on Multiple Cards into One Card?
Multiple Dell Gift Cards (prepaid cards that do not expire) can be consolidated into a single card by calling 1-800-624-9897, hours: Monday – Friday, 9AM to 6PM CT only. Please note that Dell Promotional Gift Cards (cards that are issued in connection with a promotion, award or loyalty program) may not be merged with any other Promo Cards or Dell Gift Cards of any kind.

What if I use only a portion of the value of the Dell Promotional Gift Card? What happens to the value remaining on the Card?
The Promo Card can be used until the value of the Promo Card is depleted or the Promo Card expires, whichever occurs first. The recipient can enjoy more than one purchase with the Promo Card as long as a balance remains on the Promo Card and as long as the Promo Card is not expired.
