Assistive Technology Services for State & Local Government

Empowerment through promoting an inclusive work environment.

Whether it’s an employee or a client, many individuals need access to accessible technologies to be productive in the workplace and achieve lifelong goals. But finding the right technology is a complex, detail-oriented process. How do you determine what devices are needed, and how do you procure them? How can you integrate adaptive technology into your existing IT network? And finally, how do you support a specialized, potentially one-of-a-kind system?

Whether your agency has employees needing specialized systems, or your agency serves the individuals with disabilities or their families, Dell’s Assistive Technology Service (ATS) simplifies and streamlines the process from end to end. We enable you to find, procure and integrate assistive technology through our service offering. This keeps an individual engaged in both the work environment, and life outside of work.
  • Access: The Dell Assistive Technology Configuration Tool, developed by Dell and Electronic Vision Access Solutions (EVAS), helps you select the best-in-class software and devices – along with Dell desktop, notebooks and tablets powered by Intel – that best accommodates the specific needs of individuals.
  • Integration: The team will install, configure and test assistive technology hardware, software and peripherals. That means it’s ready to use right out of the box.
  • Support: Our dedicated AT support staff and system engineers are available weekdays, 8 a.m.- 8 p.m. ET via a dedicated toll-free service. Our technicians have knowledge of and access to assistive technology device specifications. This provides the necessary support that is specialized to the needs of the end user.
The end result? Your employees are more productive, satisfied and engaged in the work environment, your clients will be served and your case managers can spend more quality time with clients and counselors. With our diverse, select group of research based assistive technology partners, Dell is your single source for all of your assistive technology needs. It’s winning combination that increases productivity and performance, while supporting diversity.
