When did you join Dell and what roles have you held in your time here?
I joined Dell in July 1999 and have held various roles in sales training and development including sales trainer, training consultant, training manager, global training operations manager, training director and now sales enablement senior consultant).
What responsibilities are included in your current role?
In my current role, I’m responsible for collaborating with cross functional teams to drive sales maker and sales manager capabilities.
How would you describe the Dell culture?
I would describe the Dell culture as open and collaborative.
What do you think people interested in working here would need to know?
Those who are interested in working at Dell need to know that everything we do centers around our customers.
What keeps you here at Dell?
The people and the work keep me here at Dell.
What are some projects that you have recently been involved with and some of your career highlights at Dell?
I’ve recently been involved in volunteer events with my team. Some career highlights include representing Dell at professional training conferences, being selected to participate in leadership development programs and earning a Green Belt.
What positive effects have you seen as a result of Dell’s strategy?
Because of Dell’s strategy, our customers have benefited and can more easily achieve their goals. Because of Dell’s People strategy, our team members feel inspired to do their best work and consider Dell a great place to work.
What role have you played in helping your customers grow and thrive?
My customers are our sales makers and their managers. I have helped them to grow and thrive by providing effective training programs that development them in their current role and also that help to prepare them for future roles.
