briefingsTechnical solution briefings at a Dell Solution Center (DSC) are a perfect way to understand a solution at a deeper level. Customers who have visited a Dell Executive Briefing Center and received a high-level understanding of Dell’s offerings often send their IT managers and technical decision makers to the DSC for more details. Through informal discussions with our team of experts, you will gain a technical understanding of the suggested solution, along with new ideas gleaned from the wide experience of our team members.
Our team of experts wants you to have a complete picture, and a briefing may also include a technical demonstration. Plan to spend either a half day or a full day in your briefing.
Architectural Design Sessions
architectural design sessions When you investigate a solution at a Dell Solution Center, one of the tools available to you is an Architectural Design Session (ADS). Our sessions incorporate discussion, white-boarding, technical demonstrations and hands-on experience of the solution, and are intended for IT managers and technical decision makers.
 You will deploy a set solution infrastructure and work through a number of use cases in our dedicated lab environment, gaining a hands-on experience of the solution. All discussions and demonstrations will consider your particular needs, ensuring we understand and respond precisely to your objectives. We will document our discussions and recommendations so that, at the end of the engagement, you can take away a high-level solution plan. Plan to spend one to two days in your ADS.
Proofs of Concept
proofs of conceptReduce project deployment risk with a Proof of Concept (POC) engagement in a DSC-dedicated lab. Using your own systems and test data, you can truly prove that the solution will meet your business needs. POC are typically attended by technical decision makers and technical staff.
Dell will work closely with you to gather your requirements and validate your design before the POC. Together we develop a Statement of Work (SoW) that will guide testing. Your dedicated Proof of Concept team accompanies you throughout the sessions, then compiles test results, project findings and recommendations for implementation.
Independent Software Vendor Certification
Independent Software Vendor CertificationThe program has structured and streamlined processes that work in conjunction with multidiscipline business functions and DSC to onboard and test your company’s products on Dell platforms. This testing process helps ensure that your products have met the technical requirements to perform well on Dell platforms.
