- Today it builds partnerships with leading telecoms providers and is meeting orders 50 percent faster than was previously the case.
Dell today announced that the Dutch company StartReady is working with Dell OEM Solutions to deliver Unified Communication products based on Microsoft Lync technology. At the heart of the StartReady offering are a number of ready-to-go-solutions, which give customers a quick and easy way to move to a voice-over-IP (VoIP) infrastructure.
StartReady is currently developing unified communications solutions for two leading European telecommunications companies – one of them being KPN – and has recently signed deals with two large organisations in the US.
When global customer expansion was discussed StartReady required a partner with a global footprint to continue to deliver the same level of support and got in contact with the Dell OEM Solutions team. Dell’s OEM-ready PowerEdge R610 delivers a fast and simple path to a custom-branded solution for StartReady that ships straight to the customer, saving valuable time.
With the help of Dell OEM Solutions team StartReady can meet the expectations of their customers outside the EU as well. Business today buy appliances in the knowledge there will be locally based support for their solutions. Customers receive Dell ProSupport with Mission Critical for four-hour-on-site serve and phone based troubleshooting 24/7 to help maximise uptime. In addition StartReady avoids the expense of handling requests and traveling for on-site assistance.
“When we wanted to grow internationally with the same high level of service to our customers we were looking for a global OEM partner that could meet those requirements and more,” commented Lucas Wensing, Chief Executive Officer at StartReady. “By reducing our delivery time by 50 percent we are freeing up resources to focus on what we are best at, building unified communications solutions.”
“Dell OEM is continually increasing its capabilities in the Telecommunications sector and our Dell-designed carrier-grade NEBS Level 3 and ETSI-compliant servers were based on direct feedback from telco customers,” says Sam Forsbom, General Manager Dell OEM Solutions EMEA.. StartReady is an example where our capabilities in delivery of global OEM products, services and global scale deliver true benefits to our customers.”
