On May14, 2013, the Social Innovation Think Tank brought together interdisciplinary global thought leaders in a discussion about social innovation and its potential to generate sustainable and scalable solutions for social and environmental problems around the world.

Hosted in the Austin Music Hall (venue for the Social Innovation Awards) the morning of the final awards ceremony, the in-person event was open to a live audience including global media present to cover the evening awards show. Using Dell technology, the Social Innovation Think Tank engaged participants in a simultaneous in-person and online livestream discussion about the power of social innovation.
