Wheel of Fortune Second Edition: "Install Direct X 7.0" and "Read Me" buttons are disabled during installation.




Install Wheel of Fortune Second Edition.

Special Information for QVC logo Customers

While installing the Wheel of Fortune Second Edition program, you may notice the Install Direct X 7.0 and Read Me buttons are disabled.

NOTE NOTE: This issue is NOT caused by a problem with your Dell computer.

Perform the following steps to enable the Install Direct X 7.0 and Read Me buttons.

  1. Click Cancel to exit the installation program.
    The End Program confirmation window appears.
  2. Click OK to end the installer program.
  3. Eject the Wheel of Fortune CD, then reinsert the Wheel of Fortune CD in the CD drive.
    The Wheel of Fortune Installer appears, with the Install Direct X 7.0 and Read Me buttons now enabled.
  4. Click Read Me to view the Read Me file.
NOTE NOTE: The Install Direct X 7.0 button does not need to be clicked. Direct X 8.0, a more-recent version of the Direct X application, is already pre-installed on your Dell computer.
