This article provides information about a problem with No Sound using the Windows 10 operating system on the XPS 13 9343 system.
Customers have reported No Sound heard on their XPS 13 9343 systems using the Windows 10 Operating System. There is no Audio device seen in Device Manager and reinstalling the Audio driver does not resolve the problem.

This problem can be resolved by a BIOS settings change. Please follow the instructions below to resolve this problem :
Start your PC and rapidly tap at the <F2> key at the Dell Splash Screen.
The system should boot into your BIOS setup screens at this point.
Go down and select POST Behaviour from the menu on the left hand side of the screen.
Open POST Behaviour and select Fastboot from the sub menu that appears.
On the right hand side of the page make sure you select Thorough. DO NOT select either Minimal or Auto.
click on Apply and then Exit.
Your system will boot back into Windows 10 and your sound should be working normally.
