1. Paper Jam in the Manual Feeder

  1. Remove all paper from the manual feeder, insert a single sheet, and attempt to print again.
  2. Press the button on the left side of the printer to open the front cover, and remove the toner cartridge and photoconductor (PC) drum.
  3. Lift the flap toward the front of the printer and inspect input sensor 2 (Figure 1) for damage. If input sensor 2 is damaged, please contact Dell Technical Support.

  4. If the sensor is not damaged, please contact Dell Technical Support.
