To find the printer drivers on the Terminal Server, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Terminal Server with administrative rights.
  2. Go to Start > Printers and Faxes > Add a Printer (we do not actually add a printer).
  3. At the Add Printer Wizard box, click Next.
  4. Choose a Local printer that is attached to this computer.
    • Clear the Automatically detect and install checkbox, click Next.
  5. Choose Use the following port: LPT1: Recommended, click Next.
  6. Under Manufacturer choose the printer manufacturer (we use HP for this example).
  7. Under Printers find your printer model (we use the HP LaserJet 4000 Series PCL for this example).
