PC Checkup includes extensive diagnostic tools. The diagnostics are arranged broadly into two categories for a simpler user experience, as listed below.

  1. Run Default Scan (Recommended): To launch a default scan from within Dell Support Center or Alienware Autopsy, click PC Checkup, then click Run Default Scan.
  2. Run Custom Scan: To launch a custom scan from within Dell Support Center or Alienware Autopsy, click PC Checkup, then click Run Custom Scan.
Only those devices that are detected by the system can be tested by PC Checkup. Any device that is disabled either in the BIOS or Device manager will not be visible to PC Checkup and hence cannot be tested using PC Checkup.
