Note: This device does not provide power to the system. You will need an AC adapter connected to both the system and the dock for normal operation.

The Dell Docking Station-USB 3.0, is a compact device that allows you to link several other electronic devices to your laptop using just one single USB 3.0 cable. Supported Resolutions

The Dell D3100 USB 3.0 Docking station can support maximum resolution of:

  • Display Port 1.1 = 3840x2160 @ 30Hz
  • HDMI 1.4 = 2560x1440 @ 50Hz
Note: The D3100 docking station does not support DP1.2. Due to this, it does not work with Multi-Stream Transport (MST also known as Daisy Chain) functionality.
Note: The D3100 docking station does not support DP1.2 so you cannot achieve 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz resolution.
