Install the Printer on your Dell™ WebPC™
The Dell WebPC only supports USB printers. If you are trying to use a non-USB printer, you will need to purchase a USB-to-Parallel interface cable. You can purchase such a cable at Dell Software and Peripherals web site.
You can install printers in different ways. Some printer models require that you complete the following:
Click the Start button and then click Settings.
The Settings window appears.
Click to select Printers.
Double-click the Add Printer icon.
Click to select the model from the list or click Have Disk to install the printer''s driver from the disk that came with your printer.
Some printer models require you to run a SETUP program from the printer manufacturer''s CD or floppy disk. Additionally, some printers will install Microsoft® Windows® native printer drivers automatically when you connect the printer to the Dell WebPC.
For the proper way to install your particular printer, read the documentation that came with your printer or contact the printer manufacturer for assistance.
