Use the A960 All-In-One Software to Send Multiple Faxes

To send multiple faxes using the BVRP FaxTools software included with the A960 All-In-One printer, perform the following steps:

To send multiple faxes using the BVRP Fax Tools program, the program must first be installed onto the system.

To send multiple faxes using the BVRP Fax Tools software, perform the following steps:

  1. Place the document that is to be faxed, face down on the scanner glass as indicated in Figure 1.

  1. Verify that the printer is correctly connected to the system.

  2. On the Windows desktop, click the Start button, point to All Programs, point to Dell Printers, and then point to Dell AIO Printer A960.

  3. Click to select Dell All-In-One Center.
    The Dell AIO Printer A960 All-In-One Center window appears.

  4. Click the Preview Now button.
    The scanned image appears in the left windowpane.

  5. From the Productivity Tools section, click Fax an image or document.

  6. From the section titled Step 2, click to highlight Yes, prompt me for each page.

NOTE

NOTE: To send color faxes from your A960, the machine to which you are sending the fax to must support color faxes.
  1. Click the Next button.
    The Dell AIO Printer A960 window appears.

  2. When prompted if you would like to scan another page, lift up the scanner lid and place the next page to be scanned, face down onto the scanner glass.

  3. Click the Yes button.

  4. Repeat steps 9 and 10 until you have scanned all the pages that are to be faxed.

  5. After all the pages have been scanned, click the No button when prompted if you want to scan another page.
    The Dell AIO Printer A960 window appears.
    The Send Fax Wizard: Recipient Information window appears.

  6. In the Name: box, enter the name of the recipient.

  7. In the Company: box, enter the name of the company the recipient is affiliated with.

  8. In the Recipient Fax Number: box, enter the fax number.

NOTE

NOTE: When entering the fax number, do not include dashes.
The correct format for entering a fax number would be 2225551111, and not 222-555-1111.
  1. Click the Add button.

  2. Click the Next button.
    The Send Fax Wizard: Cover Page window appears.

  3. From the Template: drop-down menu, select the type of cover page to be used.

  4. Click the Next button.
    The Send Fax Wizard: Deferred Send window appears.

NOTE

NOTE: If you wish to send your fax at a later date and time, click the Deferred Send button to specify a date and time for the fax to be sent.
  1. Click the Finish button.
    The BVRP Fax Tools cover page window appears.

  2. Close the BVRP Fax Tools cover page window.
    The Confirm Transmission window appears.

  3. Click the Send button.
    The BVRP Fax Tools window appears.
    The status of the fax transmission appears in the Fax Tools window.


Use the the A960 Operator Panel to Send Multiple Faxes

To send multiple faxes using the operator panel, perform the following steps:

  1. Verify that the printer is on.

  2. Place the documents to be faxed, onto the Automatic Document Feeder.

To send multiple page faxes using the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) feature on the Dell A960 All-In-One printer, refer to Dell Knowledge Base Article:

  1. Press the Fax button on the Operator Panel.

  2. Using the keypad on the Operator Panel, enter the fax number.

  3. Press either the Black or Color button on the Operator Panel to send either a black and white fax, or a color fax.

NOTE

NOTE: In order to send a color fax from your A960, the machine to which you are sending the fax to must also support color faxes.
