Windows Vista Reboots on New Systems with Norton Ghost
The system will show a series of text and system startup screens, in one of three different scenarios. The issue is resolved by restoring the operating system to the original factory configuration. The affected systems include:

Partition Issue Starting Windows Vista - Installation
The Install Windows message appears when the system first starts up (Figure 1). After clicking OK, the system reboots, but it stops again at this message.
Partition Issue Starting Windows Vista - Startup Repair
The computer displays a text screen with the following message:
DismountUtilityPartition and Unable To Locate A Valid Partition To Mount
Afterwards, a Status Repair window appears, and then the computer restarts repeatedly.
Restore the Computer to the Default Factory Configuration
|When you restore the computer to the default factory configuration, all data on the C drive is deleted. Before performing this procedure, back up personal files. If you do not back up personal files, the data is lost.|
|You must press F8 before the Windows logo appears on the screen. If you press F8 after the Windows logo appears, the Advanced Boot Options menu does not appear on the screen. If you do not see the Advanced Boot Options menu, restart the computer, and then repeat this step until you see the menu on the screen.|
