Issue :

You may see the following when clicking on the 'Storage View' tab in the vSphere 5.x client :
"The server <vCenter IP> could not interpret the client's request."

Resolution :

Check the service account that is used for the "VMware VirtualCenter Management Webservices" service. Ensure the account is not locked out and has correct password. Restart the service afterwards.
