Sonic Incompatibility Information

Article Summary:

Microsoft Windows Vista may report that Sonic Drive Letter Access or Roxio Drag-to-Disc is incompatible. An update is now available to resolve this error. Before installing the update, Roxio/Sonic Drag-to-Disc (if installed) must be uninstalled.

Uninstall the Drag-to-Disc Software

1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.

2. Under Programs click Uninstall a program.

3. Click to highlight Drag-to-Disc and then click Uninstall.

4. Follow the on-screen prompts to uninstall the software.

Download and Install the Roxio/Sonic Update

	Note:
	The update installation will require restarting the computer several times. It is recommended that the instructions be printed prior to continuing.

1. Click here to download the update.

2. In the File Download window, click Save, select the Desktop as the location and click Save.

3. Locate the update file named d2d3290, which was saved to the Desktop, and double-click it.

4. In the Roxio Drag-to-Disc InstallShield window, click Next.

5. Click to select I accept the terms in the License Agreement and then click Next.

6. Click Next again and then click Install.

7. Click Finish.

8. When prompted to restart your computer, click Yes.
