PowerDVD DX Produces an Incompatible Graphics Driver Error After Upgrading to Windows 7
Computers using the Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family as the main graphics controller may receive an Incompatible graphics driver error when attempting to play a Blu-Ray movie with PowerDVD DX after upgrading to Windows 7 (Figure 1).

This is due to a Windows 7 native graphics (video) driver issue and installing the Windows Vista graphics drivers will resolve the issue.
Download and Install the Latest Version of the Video Driver
To download and install the latest video drivers, perform the following steps:

Select the operating system installed on your computer from the Operating System: dropdown box.
Select Video from the Category: dropdown box.
Click the desired driver for your system displayed in the File Title(s) column to display the download page.

If you have the information provided from the online System Information utility or your invoice, please refer to this for what drivers to download. |
Click Download. You may receive a warning and an option to run or save the file.
Click Save.
When the Save As window appears, designate a folder to save the file that is being downloaded and click Save. The download progress window displays.
When the download is complete, follow the instructions provided in the Installation Instructions.
