Cases where we have forgotten our Trend Micro products password at the same time , we could no longer retrieve the password via email, we should just uninstall and reinstall the program for the account not to request for the password of the program.



Normal uninstallation of the program in rare cases might fail. This could be due to the corruption of the program itself. Follow the steps below to be able to uninstall the program properly.
  • Make sure to boot to safemode with networking.
  • Booting to safemode link
  • Open the registry

  • Go to
  • Change the value of "AllowUninstall" to 1
  • Try uninstall again - It should not ask for password, just uninstall.
  • Reinstall the software.
