Question
The PowerEdge M1000e™ Chassis Management Controller (CMC) GUI truncates Infiniband™ GUIDs.



Answer
The M1000e's CMC browser will truncate Infiniband's Global Unique IDentifier (GUID). Only the first twelve of sixteen bytes are displayed for the object . The iDRAC GUI will show the complete GUID string.

Do not send any hardware, Dell CMC engineering has identified the problem. The fix is in CMC firmware release version 3.2 and higher.
