The PowerEdge™ M1000e Chassis Management Controller (CMC) GUI truncates Infiniband™ GUIDs.


Answer

The M1000e's CMC browser will truncate Infiniband's Global Unique Identifier (GUID). Only the first twelve of sixteen bytes are displayed for the object . The iDRAC GUI will show the complete GUID string.

This was fixed in CMC firmware release version 3.2.
