How to Configure NetFlow on your vSphere Distributed Switch (vDS) in VMware vSphere ESXi 5.x :

1. In the vSphere Client, go to the home screen and click on Networking
   
2. Right click on the distributed port group for the switch you want to enable NetFlow and then click on Edit Settings
   
3. Click on Monitoring, change the status to Enabled, and then click on the OK button
   
4. Right click on the distributed switch and click on Edit Settings
   
5. Click on the NetFlow tab
   
6. Input the IP address of the NetFlow Collector, port, and an IP address you will assign for this vDS
   
7. Click on the OK button
