Network Reset

Use the Network Reset function to restore the print server's network settings, such as password and IP address, back to its default factory settings.

add NOTE: Unplug all the interface cables before you perform a Network Reset

The machine restarts automatically.

  1. Press q or p to select the Reset Menu option, and then press OK.
  2. Press q or p to select the Network option, and then press OK.
  3. Press p to select Yes.

Factory Reset

Use the Factory Reset function to reset certain machine settings back to the original factory settings.

  1. Press q or p to select the Reset Menu option, and then press OK.
  2. Press q or p to select the Factory Reset option, and then press OK.
  3. Press p to select Reset.

Settings Reset

The machine restarts automatically.

  1. Disconnect the network cable from the machine. If you do not, network settings such as IP address will not be reset.
  2. Press p or q to select the Reset Menu option, and then press OK.
  3. Press p and Back at the same time.
  4. When Settings Reset appears, press OK.
  5. When Restart Printer? appears, press OK.

After executing this function and rebooting the printer, the menu parameters or data are reset to their default values.

add NOTE: A password is required to enter Admin Menu when Panel Lock Set is set to Enable. In this case, enter the password you specified, and press the ü (Set) button.

  1. Press the 4 (Menu) button.
  2. Press the q button until System is highlighted, and then press the ü (Set) button.
  3. Press the q button until Admin Menu is highlighted, and then press the ü (Set) button.
  4. Press the q button until Maintenance is highlighted, and then press the ü (Set) button.
  5. Press the q button until Initialize NVM is highlighted, and then press the ü (Set) button.
  6. Press the q button until the desired setting is highlighted, and then press the ü (Set) button.
  7. Press the q button until the Yes is highlighted, and then press the ü (Set) button. The printer restarts automatically to apply the settings.
