Some applications do not support multiple-page scanning when used with the Dell 962 All-In-One printer. - Product Support Quick Note (PSQN) - 275061

Multi-page scans not supported with some applications from the Dell 962 AIO printer.

When multiple pages are scanned into an application using the Dell 962 AIO printer, there are three possible results:

  • The application may accept all pages correctly.
  • The application may accept all pages, but only displays the first page.
  • The application may provide a message indicating that only 1 page is allowed to be scanned into the application.

Use an application that accepts multiple images or documents.

Use an application that supports multiple images or documents from a scanner. Consult the application’s online help or the manufacturer for additional assistance with multi-page scanning support.


Examples of applications that accept multi-page scans:

  • Fax Applications
  • Microsoft® Word
  • Adobe® Acrobat®

Examples of applications that do not accept multi-page scans:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • Microsoft PowerPoint®
  • Mozilla Firebird
  • Microsoft Paint
